We are delighted to announce that our charity of the year for 2025 is St. Michael's Hospice (North Hampshire) in Basingstoke. This amazing hospice was opened in 1992 with a simple mission – to offer a choice and understanding of the complex conditions in the dying. They now provide the highest quality palliative care for over 500 patients from the North Hampshire area every year. The RHB team looks forward to a range of exciting events to help raise funds for the hospice during 2025. 👉 Read more about this brilliant charity on our website News page

RHB is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year and what a journey it has been! 🎇 From humble beginnings with Richard House working from home as a team of one, to a team of 26 in our beautifully converted vicarage in Popham, Hampshire, our team has been providing sustainable, energy-efficient, value-engineered mechanical and electrical solutions to clients in a wide range of industry sectors. It is always great news when a project we were part of wins an award. 🥇 Congratulations to Haverstock for winning the Architects’ Journal 2024 Community and Faith project award for Hemel Crematorium. The feedback from the judges says it all: ‘An uplifting’ scheme which provides a ‘sense of tranquillity’ with ‘A continuity of language and robust materiality unites this project. At the start of 2024 we nominated The Pink Place as our charity of the year. It was a very personal decision as one of our team had been diagnosed with cancer and we saw first hand just how much the care and support from The Pink Place meant to her. Founded in 2010, the charity provides compassionate support in a warm, friendly, calm and welcoming environment, away from the stresses of a clinical hospital environment. In recent years they expanded and now includes The Blue Space, a charity for men with cancer. We are so grateful for the support they provide to the local community and it was a real honour to raise over £1,200 for them during 2024. #thepinkplace #localcharity
