🎉 The team building Timber Square recently achieved a major milestone with it's topping out ceremony. Congratulation to all involved in this project of firsts. 1️⃣ It was the first project in the UK to be awarded NABERS UK 5 Star Design Review Target Rating and informed the ambitious targets in the UK’s first Net Zero Carbon Building Standard. We can't wait to deliver this vibrant, sustainable project for the city where we live and work! We supported the recently approved outline planning application to redevelop The Galleries Shopping Centre site in Bristol, working with Deeley Freed and Allford Hall Monaghan Morris architects on this a 4.8-acre city centre site. We provided multi-disciplinary support including Sustainability, Acoustics, Air Quality, Security, External lighting, Vertical Transport, Utilities and MEP. Remembering our dear friend and colleague Rob Anderson who sadly passed away on 8th January. Rob joined the Technical Control team in 2018 and made a great impact on the firm, collaborating closely with the Digital Engineering team to enhance our electrical offering, and delivering technical training. His biggest impact was just through his presence as a kind and approachable person that was always there to deliver a sensible view on all things engineering and life. He led a full life that had great personal and professional impact, which will remain an inspiration to many. For those of us lucky enough to be able to call him a friend, it was a real privilege to have him in our lives.
