Our new refreshed menu is overseen by MasterChef the Professionals winner Steve Groves, offering a unique spin on classic brasserie dishes. Yesterday was our first Wellbeing chat at our Riverstone Hub on Highgate High Street. It was lovely to meet a small group of interested prospects and be able to have really good and open conversations about how our evidence-based approach to #wellbeing can prevent and impact on #frailty. And, if the worst does still happen, how we can (together with our expert partners) support people to stay independent and feeling in control of their lives.

A fun evening yesterday at Riverstone Kensington with orthopaedic experts from Fortius Clinic and Lauren from Central Health Physiotherapy. A tour of our unique Recovery Suite, beautiful hydrotherapy pool, followed by cheese, charcuterie and wine in our restaurant. I love being able to show off the preventive approach we take to healthcare at Riverstone, talking about stopping frailty in its tracks, or not letting it develop in the first place. #wellbeing #healthyageing #ageingwell #rehabilitation

Aging and its impact in the built environment. A wonderful morning spent listening to our Riverstone Well-Being Director Dr Zoe Wyrko on a panel with Jacqui Smith and Karen Fardell. The industry experts discussed ergonomics, ageing, dementia design and how to improve the quality of future living spaces.

Last week, we celebrated the structural completion of our third residence, Riverstone Bishops Avenue, alongside our construction partner Wates Group. The ‘topping out’ ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Barnet, Barnet Education & Learning Service (BELS), Boost and many more. It marks a significant occasion for the community as well as the development of Bishops Avenue, which will open next year and offer 93 exclusive apartments to people over 65, just a stone’s throw from Hampstead Heath.  Martin Earp, Chief Executive, Riverstone, said: “The milestone completion of the structure is a proud moment for Riverstone and our construction partners, Keltbray & Wates, and the ceremony today was a great opportunity for us to celebrate the achievements of all those who are working on the project and the close successful collaboration. Beyond the Boardroom…. This week our Riverstone Exec team has stepped away from the usual office environment and spent the last two days in beautiful St Albans. It has proved to be a wonderful opportunity to focus on strategic planning, team building, and creative thinking in a tranquil setting. Near to our base, St Albans Cathedral traces its origins to the 3rd century AD, making it one of the oldest sites in Britain. The cathedral's awe-inspiring presence was the perfect backdrop, fostering an atmosphere of inspiration and discovery. Tim Small, our expert facilitator, much like the cathedral's custodians, guided us with wisdom and grace, and gave a perfect platform to all the presenters to share their insights and invite some brilliant discussions. That's why we were thrilled when our Wellbeing Director, Dr Zoe Wyrko, was recently invited to speak at Property Week’s Later Living Conference. The topic of discussion was particularly relevant: "putting your customers' needs in the heart of your business." During the panel discussion, Zoe shared valuable insights alongside other industry experts, including Rebekah Luff from Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE), Paul Coles CIO of Wallacea Living, and Ali Powell, CEO and Founder of Commercial Acceleration Ltd.
