Congratulations to all of the companies who graduated today from the inaugural Scottish Impact Investor Readiness Programme. What started as a chat over a coffee between Ross Methven and I around 2 years ago, ultimately sparked an idea, leading to the development of this programme - which has now blossomed into an amazing partnership between The Scottish National Investment Bank and Strathclyde Business School. A massive thank you to all of the businesses who participated. It was amazing to meet you all and hear about your Impact and how the programme might help you - as you grow or seek investment in the future. Investment Announcement! We are delighted to announce we have invested £4.925m in Blue Triangle, a social care provider and Registered Social Landlord (RSL). Blue Triangle is the first housing association in Scotland to receive investment from the SASH II fund. Blue Triangle currently runs 26 services across 10 local authorities. With this funding, the organisation intends to invest in new properties across Scotland, increasing the capacity of stretched resources against the backdrop of a housing crisis. Blue Triangle aims to rebuild confidence for the people they support, helping them to reintegrate into their communities. The SASH II fund aims to improve the lives of vulnerable individuals by increasing their access to safe, stable and appropriate housing, and to make charitable organisations financially stronger by helping them to buy housing in a low risk way. #socialinvestment #housing #Scottishhousingnews To read more go to: https://lnkd.in/eJ5h7WGN
