SEA-KIT International is a British SME providing hi-tech, USV (uncrewed surface vessel) solutions to the maritime, ocean science, research, defence and security industries for deployment in harsh marine environments. SEA-KIT aims to be the UK’s leading USV designer and developer, focused on over-the-horizon deployment of systems and sensors for a number of use cases. These include maritime logistics, environmental management and the security and monitoring of offshore assets, as well as marine inspection and efficient survey of the earth’s ocean floors. Through its collaboration with industry partners, SEA-KIT is sharply focused on driving down the cost of geo-data collection as well as reducing the sector’s carbon emissions.

We are making great progress with ZEPHR, our ZEVI-funded project to design, build and operate a green hydrogen fuelled USV on the River Thames in London. 🏙️ This amazing timelapse footage from MonsterCAM Composite Systems Ltd shows the plug being manufactured for the ZEPHR USV’s composite twin hulls. The zero emission survey vessel will be operated by the Port of London Authority, who will also host a green hydrogen production and storage facility built by Marine2o, with Marine Zero providing support on regulatory compliance and training.
