And there's a chance to support Selwyn's brilliant rowers here - https://lnkd.in/ee75Zywm. They've already raised an amazing £4,500 and any help towards their target of £10,000 would be really appreciated!
Last week, Cambridge University rowing clubs competed in the annual Lent Bumps! 🚣 The Lent Bumps is a rowing race on the River Cam that takes place over 5 days. The race is about 200 years old and is beloved by students and alumni of many generations. It gets its name from competitors moving ahead by 'bumping' the boat in front where the river is too narrow to compete side by side. If a crew manages to get a bump every day (i.e. go up four places) then they are awarded their oars - a blade painted in their College colours, with their crews’ names and boats they bumped. Have you seen the vintage blades in pubs around Cambridge? Congratulations to everyone who bumped, and commiserations to the bumped! What are your best Bumps memories? Pictured are crews from Trinity Hall, Selwyn College, University of Cambridge, St Catharine's College Cambridge, and Jesus College Cambridge. #CambridgeUniversity
