Celebrating the Women of Simpson TWS... At Simpson TWS, we’re proud to celebrate the incredible women in our industry, following 'International Women's Day', especially those within our own team who make a lasting impact every day. This International Women’s Day, we’re highlighting the experiences and achievements of three of our talented team members. A few words from Graduate Structural Engineer - Molly Jarvis💬 “I’ve been working at Simpson TWS for almost a year. My role can vary between existing and new structures, as well as both commercial and residential. Providing a real variation, which has helped me build on the skills developed throughout career. Since working here, I’ve found a really supportive environment at STWS, which has aided in elevating my confidence when speaking to clients, as well as with my decision-making and technical skill on projects. One of the main projects I’ve been working on has been in Brentford, which has involved the design of a multi-storey office facility and adjoining warehouse.” A few words from Revit Technician - Maja Sullivan💬 “I have had the privilege of being part of Simpson TWS for over 10 years, starting my journey as a Document Controller, progressing into a CAD Technician. Through hard work, trust, and the unwavering support from my colleagues and the leadership team, I transitioned into my current role as a Revit Technician. What I enjoy most about my role is the opportunity to work on complex structural designs, problem-solve, and collaborate with talented professionals to bring projects to life and learning new techniques and discovering innovative ways to solve challenges, keeping my work both engaging and rewarding. The recognition and appreciation for hard work at Simpson TWS create a motivating and supportive environment, and I’m proud to be part of such a dedicated team. Currently, I’m working on a challenging and exciting multi-storey reinforced concrete apartment development at Bollo Lane, London. This project is a fantastic opportunity to apply my skills and contribute to a high-profile development.” A few words from Associate Structural Engineer - Jo Smith💬 “I’ve been with STWS for just over a year now, working as an Associate. In this role, I oversee a number of large-scale residential projects, as well as smaller commercial refurbishments. A project that I have found both challenging and rewarding is Stirling Place. It features several reinforced concrete blocks above a podium level, with parking and commercial spaces below. Coordinating the transfer structure with the architectural layout and services presented some difficulties, but the effort has been well worth it.” ...We recognise and appreciate the invaluable contributions of women in engineering. Thank you to Molly, Maja, Jo, and all the women at Simpson TWS who continue to inspire and lead the way in the industry! 💪🚺🦸♀️🩵 #internationalwomensday #team #proud #civilengineering #structuralengineering

A huge thank you to Bewley Homes for hosting a wonderful evening which Andrew de Croos had the pleasure of attending! Held at the stunning Select Car Leasing Stadium in Reading... The event was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate industry achievements, reconnect with familiar faces and establish new connections. #bewleyhomes #prideofbewleyawards #networking #engineering
A night to remember: the third annual Pride of Bewley Awards delivers 'The Greatest Show'. Drawing inspiration from the Hollywood movie 'The Greatest Showman', this year’s event captivated over 300 guests at the Select Car Leasing Stadium in Reading with a stunning showcase of performances, a vibrant atmosphere, and heartfelt recognition of the company’s top contributors. All eyes were drawn to the centrepiece of the room: a grand stage where Operations Director Peter Carpinelli, flanked by two giant Oscar statues, addressed all the guests and thanked the 57 stakeholder businesses attending the evening who have all played a vital part in the success of the company over the year. Peter said: “When you ask people what makes Bewley so special, the answer is the people. Each and every one of you is what makes the growing Bewley family shine. Together, we share a higher purpose—to serve our discerning customers and create vibrant, thriving communities. We are the changemakers and placemakers, shaping lives and leaving a legacy I like to call our 'Ripple Effect’. “Beyond delivering beautiful, award-winning homes, exceptional developments, and five-star customer service, what we do is special because it’s never 'just work.' Every foundation you dig, every pipe you connect, every home you sell, every handshake or even a simple smile—it all adds a layer to the 'ring' around a Bewley Home. Those rings grow, shaping how people see us, remember us, and carry forward our legacy.” The awards section of the night highlighted the company’s most outstanding individuals, teams and suppliers. “The Pride of Bewley Awards is about more than recognition,” added Andrew Brooks, Managing Director. “It’s about celebrating the extraordinary contributions of our team members, the passion they bring to their work, and the collective spirit that drives our success.” Pride of Bewley Awards roll of honour 2024 KEEPING US SAFE AWARD Willow Fields CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD Sovereign Gate GREEN & SUSTAINABLE INITIATIVE OF THE YEAR Sheena Goodenough GOING THE EXTRA MILE AWARD Andrew Langfeld SITE MANAGER & ASSISTANT OF THE YEAR Willow Fields & Wilton Park CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR Guest & Fiore Contract Bricklayers Limited SALES EXECUTIVE / SALES TEAM OF THE YEAR Sales Support Team Jane Bailey and Roisin Dockrell MARKETING AGENCY OF THE YEAR ThinkBDW ESTATE AGENCY OF THE YEAR Hamptons Sue Fisher Gary Mellish SPOTLIGHT AWARD Charlie Potter CONSULTANT OF THE YEAR MJA Consulting Civil & Structural Engineers SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR Donaldson Timber Engineering THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD Kathy Dykes & Kate Bayley CHAIRMAN’S AWARD Chloe Willman BEWLEY LONG SERVICE AWARD Andrew Brooks (29 years of service) Sheena Goodenough (14 years) TEAM OF THE YEAR Construction Team #BewleyHomes #PrideofBewley #Awards

A big congratulations to our Gloucester team... 👏 Simpson TWS winners of the Michelmores Quiz 2024! Great to see this team spirit and the funds raised during the event to Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice... Thank you Michelmores #winners #teamspirit #charityquiz #gloucester
Last night, we hosted our third Michelmores Quiz at The Queens Hotel in Cheltenham. We welcomed over 110 people within the Cheltenham and Cotswolds business community for an evening of brain-teasing questions, food and drinks. Congratulations to Simpson TWS for winning the quiz and a bottle of Nyetimber to enjoy over the festive season. Although you didn't win the top spot, thank you to Savills for participating. The wooden spoons are bound to come in handy this Christmas. The true triumph of the evening, however, lies in your collective generosity. We are thrilled to announce that we've raised an outstanding £1,565 for our Cheltenham Charity Partner, Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice. Thank you again for your support. Thank you to Adam Corbin for being the Quiz master for the evening. #MichelmoresQuiz2024 #CheltenhamBusiness #CotswoldsBusiness
