Consulting companies suck. Skill Collective is a consulting company. Hmmm... what to do... Consulting has a ropey reputation, working conditions are horrific, it's expensive, it's boring, it's archaic, they talk a lot of nonsense (aka sh*t in Karl Weston's language) and likely regurgitate what they've been conditioned to say. It needs an overhaul. It needs disrupting. It needs boldness. It needs authenticity. It must deliver VALUE. We are positively disrupting this space and absolutely passionate about delivering meaningful, purposeful experiences for our employees and our customers. How? Solving problems, being real, being honest. I am fed up of seeing some of the absolute rubbish spouted by some of the big consulting companies out there. Don't get me wrong, some of the work they do is brilliant, but the work within #skills is not. Our own website even sucked. We got drawn in to looking like others. We blended in to the background, like wallpaper We are not like others. We want to deliver twice the value in half the time with a heck of a lot more cost effectiveness than the boring monsters out there.
