What happens when you challenge SOLARPORT's design engineers to build a raft for the annual RNLI Raft Race? You get an unsinkable raft that ends up rescuing teams whose rafts sank! Last week we took part in the annual RNLI Raft Race at West Bay, Dorset, which saw 16 teams make their way along the River Brit, cheered on by thousands. This year's event raised over £4,000 for the lifeboat charity, who is celebrating its 200th anniversary. And yes... you are correct, they have solar panels on their heads!
