🔊 We are happy to welcome Ryota (formerly known as Isoyama-san) as a new member of Sony Semicon (EU) EUDC digital team in Oslo. He is already quite well known within EUDC - not only for his 2-month business trip last year but also for his pleasant and helpful personality. He is originally from Okayama, Japan, but had been working in Fukoka, Japan. He has a wide range of experience in pre-silicon verification starting from Cosim AMS (Analog Mixed Signal) simulation in IMX728 to ISO26262 support for verification in ISX022 and IMX735. He has already been a crucial part of our UVM testbench development. He enjoys finding bugs; in addition, he also enjoys exploring food places, taking photo with Sony alpha7, cycling, snowboarding and travelling. 📢 Kotaro Imai, also known as Imai-san or Kocha, is joining Sony Semicon (EU) EUDC Oslo office as a senior firmware design engineer from the Automotive Business Division in Atsugi. With nearly 14 years of experience in CMOS image sensor firmware design, Kocha is not only an accomplished engineer but also a talented musician. He specializes in auto white balance algorithms and camera control firmware. Kocha played a pivotal role in establishing the firmware design team at EUDC and was instrumental in the successful design of the ISX038. As our liaison between headquarters and our design center, Kocha will be a vital asset.
