Would you like to run somewhere no one is normally allowed to run? Join #TeamSPEAR at Richmond RUN-FEST and experience running in the beautiful Kew Gardens! The 10km is a beautiful, flat, fast course which starts inside Kew Gardens before running along the Thames towpath to the music festival finish in the Old Deer Park in Richmond. The half marathon also starts inside Kew Gardens and then takes you on a scenic tour of Richmond, passing historical sites including Ham House, Richmond Palace, Teddington Lock, and the meandering River Thames, before finishing at the music festival in Old Deer Park. We’ve joined over 50 homelessness organisations from across the country in signing Homeless Link’s letter to Rishi Sunak, Sir Keir Starmer and Sir Ed Davey, urging them to take decisive action to bring down levels of homelessness and rough sleeping should they lead the next Government. The letter, which has been reported on in The Independent, was coordinated by Homeless Link and signed by a range of organisations including SPEAR, Shelter, Crisis, St Mungo’s, the National Housing Federation and Centrepoint. It calls for the next Government to enact Homeless Link’s four key asks, as outlined in its Manifesto to End Homelessness. https://lnkd.in/eF7WBzHC
