We’re here. On the streets. Every day and every night. Rain or shine. Helping people bounce back from homelessness, for good. We’ve launched our first brand advertising campaign – We’re Here. We’ve known for years at St Mungo’s that public profile is key to achieving our ambitions. We’ve also known that we’ve had some catching up to do, with public perceptions not matching the extensive work we do on the frontline. This year a perfect storm of the right timing, insight data and agency partners Red Stone and Medialab Group, has made this campaign possible. The creative focus is on our positive action, with the simple message that we are there when people need us, which is deeply true to us and what we want to be known for. This site opposite the Old Vic Theatre is one of our favourites. If you’ve always wondered what we do, now’s the perfect time to find out more. https://lnkd.in/e5_BAixZ #Homelessness #RoughSleeping #CharityComms #StMungosIsHere #Advertising
About us
We're a charity working to end homelessness and rebuild lives in England. 🏡 We work directly with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, providing them with services to find paths away from the homelessness, for good. 📣 We influence policy makers to make positive change, through the power of our clients’ voices and our operational expertise. Last year we helped more than 28,000 people across 160 services. Our services meet our clients where they are, from rough sleeping support and emergency accommodation, to finding a longer-term home, and helping people to learn new skills, find jobs and reconnect.

🚨 The number of women sleeping rough is rising - increasing 20% in 2024. But the true scale of women experiencing homelessness is likely far greater than records show. Why? Because homelessness often looks different for women ⤵️ 🛋️ Many experience ‘hidden homelessness’ — sofa surfing, squatting, or sleeping on buses to avoid the dangers of being visible on the streets. 💔 Women face increased risks of exploitation and violence, making it even harder to seek help and recover. That’s why, at St Mungo’s, we offer specialist women’s services every day - not just on International Women's Day. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e7sJn4Fj #IWD2025 #Homelessness #Women

To celebrate International Women's Day, more than 40 volunteers from Thomas Miller assembled over 180 packages containing essential period products for St Mungo's women's only services in London. Women experience homelessness differently to men, and the stigma around menstruation and lack of access to sanitary products can affect a woman’s health, self-esteem, and ability to engage with support services. Women's only services are crucial in addressing some of the unique challenges women face, providing a safe and supportive environment, with tailored resources designed to help them rebuild their lives.
