The supported accommodation-based service will be available to individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, offering person-centred, targeted support, information, and guidance to help prevent and alleviate homelessness. Yesterday, on World Mental Health Day 2024, we were excited to launch our newest project, offering 24/7 support to young people facing homelessness in RCT. We are committed to helping individuals improve their mental health by providing safe, stable living environments that reduce the stress and anxiety caused by unstable housing. Through building trusting, meaningful relationships, we ensure that the people we support feel confident knowing they have a reliable support system. Our approach centres on creating opportunities and sharing responsibilities, empowering individuals to work towards independence. We believe that today—and every day—offers the chance to begin a new chapter in your life.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last week for our Impact Day and AGM as we celebrated 35 years of empowering people to start a new chapter - colleagues, commissioners, board members, shareholders, stakeholders, partners, and most of all the people we support who shared their stories. We are deeply saddened by last week's violent attack in Southport, which claimed the lives of three young girls and left others injured. Our hearts go out to the victims, their families, and friends during this painful time.   It is distressing that this tragedy has been used to spread hate and divide communities. The resulting racism and Islamophobia do not represent the values of Wales. Stori stands with our Black, Asian, and Ethnic Minority colleagues, stakeholders and tenants, and reaffirms our commitment to building a welcoming, inclusive, and truly anti-racist Wales. We stand in solidarity with others across Wales who have expressed their support by signing the Wales Statement of Solidarity and Togetherness.
