Hey Felix fam, guess what? It's Friday! We made it. Great work everybody 👏. And to start those weekend vibes early💫🪐✨🌈, we want share with you that our Award Winning™ (pending) apple juice is back and being delivered out to our community right now. You may remember back in ye olden days of Autumn 2024 🍂, we were out on the farm rescuing apples, pears and plums. Many of you reading this were there volunteering💪, helping us to save this vital and nutritious fruit. And thanks to you, through our Farm to Freezer initiative, we juiced more than 25 tonnes of apples, making 15,000 litres of delicious juice, extending its shelf life by two years 💚. And since we measure everything by Kylie Minogue's height at Felix (1.52m fyi), if you were to lay every one of those litres of juice end to end, they would stretch 3,525 metres or approximately 2,138 Kylies 🤯. Thank you to everyone involved, especially Amazon for sorting all the logistics to deliver all this apple juice #togetherwithamazon. It's truly amazing what we can do when we come together as community to rescue vital food, keeping it out of landfill, and getting it into the hands of Londoners who need.
