Another successful bridge demolition under the belt! 🚧 Tru Demolition were back to work on the M25 Junction 10 last weekend, efficiently demolishing and clearing the redundant western gyratory bridge, finishing ahead of schedule and allowing our client to reopen the UK’s busiest motorway earlier than anticipated. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: Cloudcam UAV have done a fantastic job preparing the January progress video for DWDR Stage 3B. The progress video focuses on demolition of the existing swing bridge and construction of a new section of Union Street Road to binder level before the start of the boating season in Spring.   The demolition works were undertaken by Tru Demolition, with infilling by Waitings and the construction of the road by Walker Construction UK Ltd all under subcontract to Boskalis Westminster Ltd. and McLaughlin & Harvey Ltd JV.   Woodley Coles LLP are proud to be providing QS support to Port of Dover on Stage 3B of the DWDR project.   #infrastructure #project #progress #doverharbour #marine #qs #quantitysurveying #kent

One down, one to go! 🚧 The first of two final bridges scheduled for demolition as part of the M25/Junction 10 Improvement Scheme is no more! ✅ Last weekend, Tru Demolition efficiently cleared the redundant eastern gyratory bridge, enabling our client to reopen and resume the normal flow of traffic on Britain’s busiest motorway - in line with the anticipated programme. Great teamwork throughout the weekend, reinforced with close collaboration from our client, Balfour Beatty, ensured the inevitable hiccups one finds on every bridge were quickly resolved, allowing the project to progress in a professional, timely and (above all else) safe manner. 👏   We look forward tackling the final bridge on the 22nd-23rd March!
