We had our first visit of the year from stockist Barretts at Hartlepool yesterday. The 13 delegates from Barrett Steel offices across the UK attended the 20” mill tour hosted by Operations Manager Stuart Hall, supported by technical presentations on our Celsius® structural hollow sections range and commercial enquiries with Customer Technical Support Engineer, Greg Carter. BE Groups säljare besökte TATA Steel i England Den världsledande ståltillverkaren Tata Steel UK är en av BE Groups huvudleverantörer på varm- och kallformade hålprofiler. Nyligen besökte en grupp BE-anställda deras valsverk i Corby, England. Ett besök som imponerade, inspirerade och gav ökad förståelse för komplexiteten i produktionsprocessen. Det var nyttigt att få se hur tillverkningen går till och hur mycket hantering som krävs för att materialet ska få de egenskaper som det har, konstaterar Martina Gerleman, kundansvarig säljare på BE:s kontor i Jönköping. Tillsammans med kollegorna Felicia Englund, kundansvarig säljare i Malmö, och Petra Hägg från BE:s inköpsavdelning, blev Martina Gerleman utsedd att gå en internationell vidareutbildning i ståltillverkaren Tata Steels regi. Small Install® Plus 235 change for bigger transparency Some imported Screwed and Socketed (S&S) tubes may have fittings that are not the correct type nor the right material grade for the end-user application. By removing the factory supplied socket and supplying Install® Plus 235 as Threaded Both Ends (TBE), not only does this deliver sustainability benefits through energy, material and carbon savings, but it avoids any confusion under the Construction Product Regulations (CPD) and Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). Our customers are now able to supply the correct socket, as per end-user requirements, to satisfy compliance and pressure performance expectations in full.
