A weekend in the mountains with some of the industries top women and rising stars ✨ Thank you Canyon Bicycles GmbH & the GRL PCK for getting us all together to discuss, debate & plan what the future could hold for cycling 🤔 Amazing to hang, ride, relax and eat with friends, old and new, from all over the world 🌍 The conversation was realistic, pragmatic & positive. What a treat to have open and honest chats with so many incredible women from Zwift, Shimano, Canyon Bicycles GmbH, komoot, SRAM, LLC, Schwalbe - Ralf Bohle GmbH, Salomon, Haglöfs and many more; all in one place, occasionally with wine and chocolate in hand ☺️ The energy was unreal. Im Januar 2024 wurde das Netzwerk „Women in Cycling Germany“ (WiCG) in Berlin ins Leben gerufen! 🎉 Über 300 Expert*innen aus Wirtschaft, Politik, Wissenschaft und Zivilgesellschaft engagieren sich hier ehrenamtlich, um Frauen* im Fahrradsektor zu stärken und ihre Perspektiven einzubringen. Unser Ziel? Frauen* sichtbarer machen, Netzwerke knüpfen und eine echte Veränderung auf individueller sowie struktureller Ebene schaffen. Gemeinsam wollen wir nicht nur das Fahrrad als Verkehrsmittel fördern, sondern auch einen Beitrag zu einer fairen und inklusiven Verkehrswende leisten. 🚲💪 WiCG ist Teil eines europaweiten Netzwerks, das sich für Chancengleichheit und Diversität stark macht. Wir sind eng verbunden mit unseren Partnerorganisationen in anderen Ländern: Femme à Vélo in Frankreich, Uplift im Vereinigten Königreich, Women In Cycling Europe, Women in Cycling Switzerland und Women in Cycling Italy. Diese Zusammenarbeit ermöglicht uns einen grenzüberschreitenden Austausch und stärkt unsere gemeinsame Mission. Werde Teil unserer Bewegung! Egal, in welcher Form du bereits in der Fahrradbranche aktiv bist oder dich für eine gerechtere Mobilität einsetzen möchtest – bei uns findest du einen Platz. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been selected for the Uplift mentorship program as a mentee! 🎉 This opportunity means so much to me, and I’m really looking forward to being part of a community that’s all about sharing experiences and pushing each other to grow. I love the idea of working alongside people who are just as passionate about moving the cycling industry forward as I am. I’m excited to learn from my mentors and gain new perspectives that will help me step up my game and grow both personally and professionally.

It's official, I have been accepted into the Class of 2024 Uplift Women in the Cycling Industry mentorship program. It's hard to express how exciting this opportunity is.
