    Two birds with one stone at The NEC, Birmingham... Jonny McPartland CertRP and I had an action-packed day yesterday, attending both the Recruitment Agency Expo and Fleet & Mobility Live! We had an insightful day at the Recruitment Agency Expo, met some potential suppliers and came away with fresh ideas and new strategies to implement back here at Marmion HQ to help elevate our service offering to our clients. From tech-driven solutions to people-centric approaches, the future of Marmion looks exciting… 👀 A nice surprise seeing Jack Robson and the team from VAAAS , and nice to bump into Christina Robinson who I met at the RECSCAPE Recruitment Leader Summit last year! 🚗🚚 Since Fleet & Mobility Live was happening right next door, we couldn’t miss the opportunity to gain some further insights into an industry we do so much work in. It was great to see firsthand how much the fleet industry is evolving, especially with the ongoing advancements in EV and technology. We’re proud to work with some of the leading providers in fleet management - it was nice to see our friends at Jaama Ltd and some of our contacts in the fleet industry. Great to see you Richard Evans James Ryan Collette Dooley - your stand looked amazing! The highlight of my day: bumping into the one and only Jason Fitzgerald after too many years!     Our values are underpinned by our tagline – ‘Understanding People First’. Many recruitment agencies are using automating CV scanning tools to make things more ‘efficient’ or dismiss CV’s without reading them. In our opinion it’s really lazy and disrespectful to candidates who take the time to make applications. Taking away the personal connection with candidates at the first stage of the job application process can mean missing out on the best people for the job. That’s why every submitted CV is read by our trained Recruitment Team, who because they understand the vacancy requirements, know what they are looking for in a CV, even if some of the information in the CV is missing. Not only do they understand people, but they understand business!
