They’ve partnered with Berghaus Ltd to produce an outdoor coat with an innovative wadding derived from bulrushes   👧 Petit Pli have developed clothes that grow with your children, inspired by the origami folding used by satellites as they open in space 🧪 DyeRecycle are working to recycle colour! They use sustainable chemistry and textile waste to extract dyes so they can be used again 🛍️ PulpaTronics have developed paper tags that allow for electrical conductivity - ideal alternatives to plastic security tags   These spinouts have been supported by Imperial’s entrepreneurial ecosystem including Undaunted: Tackling climate change with innovation, Imperial’s Imperial Enterprise Lab and the White City Incubator. Collaborative Workshop on AI in Medicine 🌐 🩺 Last week, I-X had the pleasure of hosting a Collaborative Workshop on AI in Medicine, organised by Professor Brendan Delaney (I-X & Department of Surgery & Cancer) and Dr OJ Watson (I-X Centre for AI in Science & School of Public Health). The workshop brought together researchers, clinicians, data scientists, and AI experts from across Imperial College London to explore the transformative potential of AI in medicine. The event was a great opportunity to brainstorm new research ideas and identify funding opportunities for AI-driven healthcare advancements. It was fantastic to see the workshop successfully fostering new interdisciplinary collaborations and sparking insightful discussions on the future of AI-powered healthcare!
