Driving Sustainability Forward at The Bristol Port Company 🌍⚡ At The Bristol Port Company, we are committed to driving meaningful change towards a Net Zero future. Here’s how we’re putting this into action: 🌊 The Bristol Wind Terminal (BWT): We’re supporting the development of the floating offshore wind in the Celtic Sea, helping the UK meet its 2050 Net Zero target. 🦆 Steart Habitat Creation Scheme: We’re working to create 130 hectares of intertidal habitat on the Steart Peninsula, enhancing biodiversity, supporting wetland wildlife, and strengthening flood protection. We’re proud to be collaborating with WWT to bring this initiative to life. 🚍 Introducing Hybrid Crew Buses: We’re excited to welcome four brand-new hybrid crew buses, marking another milestone in our sustainability journey. This investment will reduce emissions, improve operational efficiency, and move us closer to a greener future. ☀️ Investing in Solar Power: Our electricity consumption is set to fall as we install our first solar panels. Due for completion in March, these panels will help us to cut nearly 100 tonnes of carbon annually. Sustainability is at the heart of what we do, and we remain dedicated to delivering innovative, impactful solutions that benefit both the environment and the communities around us. #Sustainability #NetZero #OffshoreWind #WildlifeConservation #GreenEnergy #SolarPower #BristolPort
