Pre-election, Labour pledged to 'Make Britain a clean energy superpower.' Now they've won power, it's time for them to leave policy confusion and delays behind - and demonstrate their commitment to ambitions decarbonisation plans. Here's a reminder of their key manifesto promises: - £1bn investment in carbon capture - £6.6bn investment in energy efficiency - £1.5bn investment in green skills - Creation of a Clean Power Alliance to reduce energy costs - Decarbonisation of the grid by 2050 - £500m to support green hydrogen generation. The King's Speech set out some of the ways Labour intends to turn promises into action.
