It's great to hear what our partners thought of attending the global property conference with us and the benefits of joining the official Manchester delegation. As a relatively new to-the-scene business, MIPIM offered a chance to improve connections and establish themselves within our region's property sector. Axis-RE: Quarter One Reflections & Looking Forward As we reach the end of Q1 2025, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on progress and share some thoughts on what's to come. 🏗️ The Joinery: Milestones & Progress Our flagship Northern Quarter development continues to make impressive strides. With the superstructure progressing upward, we're on target for construction milestones, with the entire project on schedule for completion in 2026. Next steps include commencement of interior works, with teams focusing on internal partition installation, first-fix electrical work, and wiring systems, while exterior cladding work continues to advance. 🐝 Manchester at MIPIM 2025 This month saw Manchester putting its best foot forward at MIPIM 2025, with an impressive delegation showcasing the city-region's opportunities to international investors. As Cllr Bev Craig noted during the event: "The scale of investment that we've seen in the last decade is going to be rapidly outstripped in the next 10 years, so we need to be ambitious for the future and set a confident trajectory." We've always believed that Greater Manchester's growth potential remains significantly untapped, and the political alignment between national and local leadership creates unprecedented opportunity for those ready to engage. 🔙 Reflections on Past Developments Following our theme at the start of 2025, we've been looking back at projects that have shaped our approach and values. Whether it's Stockport Exchange's transformation from Grand Central to a thriving business district, the sensitive regeneration of Philharmonic Court in Liverpool, or the mixed-use redevelopment at Heyhouses Lane in Lytham St Annes – these projects remind us that successful regeneration hinges on lateral thinking, a can-do attitude, and strong partnerships. 📅 Looking Ahead As we move into Q2, we're excited about several opportunities that align perfectly with our ethos and approach. While we can't share details quite yet, we're looking forward to announcements in the coming weeks! 🤐 We're also looking forward to joining the Manchester delegation at UKREiiF in Leeds this May, continuing the conversations around investment and regional development that began at MIPIM. And, we're kicking off our website refresh, better showcasing our portfolio and values to partners and stakeholders. The property market remains challenging, but as we've always maintained – there is always an answer to a problem, it's simply a matter of finding it!
