We are delighted to see this visit take place at Battersea Power Station. We’re proud to have been involved in Circus West Village, the pioneering first phase of this brand-new neighbourhood for London. Located on the western side of the Power Station, it acted as a catalyst for the development as a whole and created a sense of place that built anticipation for the later phases. We take pride in our contribution to this vibrant, mixed-use neighbourhood and are pleased to see the ongoing progress that has been achieved. #architecture #architects #transformation #placemaking #regeneration #London
We were honoured to welcome the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, to Battersea Power Station on Thursday 16th January for a tour of the 42-acre regeneration project. The visit was a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how Malaysian expertise has brought tremendous value to a once neglected London district, transforming it into a vibrant new destination, whilst at the same time supporting the Malaysian economy. Today, Battersea Power Station is home to more than 150 shops, cafés, restaurants and leisure experiences, over 3,000 residents, more than 6,600 workers, and is connected to the rest of Central London via a new Zone 1 Underground station. The visit offered a great opportunity to discuss the exciting plans for Battersea Power Station in 2025 and beyond, with approximately half of the estate still to be developed. This year, new occupants are set to move into 50 Electric Boulevard, our new 200,000 sq ft state-of-the-art office space, including global architecture studio Foster + Partners, who have leased 48,000 sq ft to support its international growth. The Light Festival is set to return from 23rd January – 23rd February 2025, kickstarting the exciting annual programme of events, with other highlights including celebrASIA, which will return for a second year in September 2025 celebrating Southeast Asian heritage and culture.
