Great to speak with Albotherm, Calyo, FluoretiQ Limited, Nusku, Uplift360 about their scaling journey and the strategy and tactics behind raising a Series A round! 💰 Next ➡️ it was the techSPARK uk Annual Investment Briefing (courtesy of a lift from Thanh Quan-Nicholls - thanks!). Ably presented by Henry Whorwood of Beauhurst; South West businesses raised £587m in 2024, minorly down on 2023. However, with the average round size increasing and 36 companies raising >£1m, including Mercia Ventures backed Heidi and RoleMapper - the region is alive and well 🚀 As always good to see familiar faces but also make lots of new connections!
