Happy World Braille Day! On January 4th, we honor the brilliance of Louis Braille and the incredible impact his invention has had on the lives of visually impaired individuals around the world. Braille empowers millions of people with visual impairments to read, write, and access information independently. It's not just a code; it's a lifeline that opens doors to education, employment, and a world of possibilities. On this day, it is important to discuss the ongoing development in the field of accessibility and independence. We would like to remind everyone that learning Braille is now easily achievable through the Easy Braille program developed by the 4Blind team. By completing the program, you will be able to read in Braille in just 40 minutes! Here you can complete the program for free and contribute to the spread of Braille: www.easybraille.org [Image description: A banner with Braille on a light gray background. 4Blind has completed the program in the Access to Success Organization , Canada's first accelerator for accessibility startups. This experience provided us with a unique opportunity to deepen our knowledge, expand our network of contacts, and accelerate the development of our projects. Throughout the program, we engaged in discussions on crucial topics such as inclusive leadership, marketing, fundraising, design, customer acquisition, and co-development. Furthermore, we had the opportunity to practice pitching to a cohort of wonderful experts. We had the privilege of learning from expert professionals, including Jayesh Singh, founder of Able Innovations; Bruce Johnson, Principal Researcher Accessibility & Inclusive Design at Microsoft; Andrea Palmer, founder of Awake Labs; Idan Mair, co-founder of RightHear; and many others. They not only shared their success stories and valuable experiences but also inspired us with new ideas. We extend our gratitude to Access to Success Labs for this unique experience, the support, and the opportunity to grow within such a wonderful community. Special thanks to Varun Chandak and Sydney Bokla for their time and careful guidance! #ATSLabs #4Blind #HaptiBraille #Braille #Accessibility #AssistiveTech #innovation #engineering #healthcare #Accessibility #ForLimitlessAbilities #Blindness #Deafblindness
