No better day than today to give your grandparents a call! ☎️ On this fourth annual World Day of Grandparents and the Elderly, the Vatican grants a plenary indulgence to anyone who visits a sick, lonely, or disabled elderly person. In his homily on this day last year, Pope Francis said, "How much we need a new bond between young and old so that the sap of those who have a long experience of life behind them will nourish the shoots of hope of those who are growing." 🌱 How will you bring Christ to the elderly today? ✝️

Having heard Jesus' message, the disciples asked for food.  And God provided. BIG TIME. OVERABUNDANTLY.    Now as then, God provides overabundantly for his people, for you.    The apostles never saw it coming, and we often don't either.  But we, like they, are called to ever-deeper trust in God, who delights to provide for his people.    How is God inviting you to trust in him, in his loving provision for you, today?    #ScriptureSunday

St. Mary Magdalene waited for Jesus—amid uncertainty, amid persecution, amid suffering. Because of her faith, she was the FIRST to see our risen Lord on the third day. She never gave up hope. Are there areas of your life where you are waiting for our Lord? Do you have faith that he will create a resurrection in YOUR life? 🌅 Let's ask St. Mary Magdalene's intercession as we, in our own ways, wait for the Lord. He will fulfill every promise he has made to us!
