VDT had the privilege to speak and attend the 12th annual Facades+ Conference hosted by The Architect's Newspaper. Principals Matthew Gamache and Tom Daly captivated the audience with the story behind the multi-functional facade of the Ford Calumet Environmental Center. From the naturally weathering corten steel to the bird safe features, this kinetic facade showcases how materials and sustainable design can come together. A huge thank you to the Facades Conference and The Architect's Newspaper teams for having us and for hosting such a wonderful event!
