About us
The Army Residence Community (ARC) is a Continuing Care Retirement Community/Life Plan Community. At the ARC, we welcome all officers, including E-8 and E-9, whether retired or honorably discharged from all branches of service, and senior level GS 12 and above, federal employees, to include spouses and surviving spouses. We offer independent living through the continuum of care. Currently, over 700 retirees are living at the ARC in San Antonio, TX. The residents can enjoy abundant amenities here, including a putting green, pool, library, game rooms, and more. The Army Residence Community is a nonprofit whose mission is to provide the finest atmosphere for retirement to allow residents to be as independent as possible yet free to use the community's services and amenities as they wish - all at the most reasonable cost commensurate with the offering of first-class quality services.
