It was a SIGNificant week yet again for our staff. The teams at Highpoint Health -- Riverview and Highpoint Health -- Trousdale both commemorated the installation of their new building signs, the visual representation of our new brand announced about 9 months ago. Hartsville Mayor Jack McCall and Representative William Slater joined us at our Trousdale campus to support the deepening partnership with Ascension Saint Thomas, and CEO Rod Harkleroad affirmed to the Riverview team that the new sign symbolizes a history of great care and a future of more access. It was a special moment in Gallatin this week as the new sign for Highpoint Health Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas was illuminated for the first time. The collaboration between Lifepoint Health® and Ascension Saint Thomas through the joint venture Highpoint Health with Ascension Saint Thomas expands healthcare services and improves patient care across Northern Middle Tennessee. Since the announcement of our joint venture in December 2023, Highpoint Health Sumner with Ascension Saint Thomas has introduced several key benefits and services, such as new interventional cardiologists, expanded heart rhythm care, and a new stroke and acute teleneurology program.

It was a night of heartfelt success stories and red carpet moments. The Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Bariatric team recently hosted its second annual transformation celebration, honoring our patients' remarkable weight-loss journeys and dedication. Collectively, those featured lost over 2,000 pounds! "We don't take time to celebrate the wins often enough, so it's really special that the bariatric center puts these on every year for us to really see what incredible stride we've made," said Katie, a Rutherford bariatric patient.
