Our Economic Impact Report, created in partnership with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), projects an estimated $1.4 billion economic boost across the nine Bay Area counties from NBA All-Star 2025, Super Bowl LX and FIFA World Cup 26™. “As we look towards the next two years, we have a unique opportunity to make a long-lasting positive impact on the region,” said Zaileen Janmohamed, president and CEO of the Bay Area Host Committee. “These sporting events and partnerships with the NBA, NFL and FIFA are converging to create an immense economic boost that will have a tangible impact on our Bay Area communities for years to come.” These signature global sporting events are also estimated to create or sustain nearly 13,000 jobs and drive an estimated 400,000 bookings in local accommodations. “The Bay Area is home to state-of-the-art sports facilities, world-class restaurants and hotels, and some of the largest companies anywhere in the world – but what really makes the region special is the people. The Bay Area’s diverse communities thrive on accepting people and ideas from around the world and have been growing sports hubs for generations,” said California Governor Gavin Newsom. “We look forward to hosting these events which will create jobs all across the region and build on our record-breaking tourism milestones from last year.” Read more: https://bit.ly/3x6AyTh #BayAreaUnite #NBAAllStar #SBLX #FIFAWorldCup

Last week the San Francisco 49ers Corporate Partnerships Team hosted our annual Corporate Partner Summit. It was so great bringing so many partners together into one room as we recapped highlights from last season and shared insights into the 2024-2025 season ahead. Thank you to this year's Summit speakers for making the day so impactful: Patty Hubbard and Zaileen Janmohamed from the Bay Area Host Committee, Scott LaBounty from the National Football League (NFL), Alex Kerr from Trajektory, Kenneth Mitchell from Levi Strauss & Co. moderated by Brent Schoeb and last but not least, Al Guido and John Lynch for their Q&A moderated by Lindsey Pallares. Special thanks to Levi Strauss & Co. for customizing Westerns for all partners in attendance, and to Laura "LJ" Johnson for allowing our partners to experience what it's like to be a part of Media Day! Summit Committee (Graham, Alexis & Abigail) and the entire CP Team - way to crush it!

We are thrilled to announce Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as the BAHC's inaugural founding partner. We have agreed to a three-year partnership as the region prepares to host some of the world's most prestigious sporting events over that period. "This collaboration is a cornerstone in our journey towards making the Bay Area the epicenter of sports culture, and we look forward to building on this inaugural partnership with many more that will support this purpose. We are officially open for business," said Zaileen Janmohamed, president and CEO of the Bay Area Host Committee. As a founding partner, BCG will support BAHC's journey from a budding startup into a sustainable, strategy-driven sports commission. "Boston Consulting Group is proud to be the first founding partner of the Bay Area Host Committee," said Daniel Acosta, BCG's West Coast system lead and a BAHC advisory board member. Our partnership with BAHC strengthens this legacy — supporting significant events like NBA All-Star, Super Bowl LX, and the FIFA World Cup. Together, we will create lasting impacts beyond these events and enrich the Bay Area's future." For the full press release, visit our Newsroom here: https://bit.ly/44Upzc3 #BayAreaUnite
