Saving Endangered Animals From Extinction is nearing 30 Million Views! Without the Maasai Mara conservancies, seeing endangered animals in this recent film would be as rare as visiting Jurassic Park. These brave rangers are the real-life heroes keeping extinction at bay, ensuring that species like rhinos don't become just another exhibit in a museum of the past, even as they face poachers and devastating weather events which tragically, due to recent floods, have destroyed tourism camps and even claimed the lives of two rangers in the line of duty. When we heard this devastating news, we sent Dan and Darren to Kenya to find out how to ensure this never happens again. After learning that installing weather stations could be vital in preventing such tragedies, we've committed to building twelve stations powered by solar panels and batteries from GivePower to help the rangers protect wildlife and generate income through carbon credits, expanding protected areas and sustaining the Maasai community for generations to come! R.I.P Dora Moono Nyambe 🕯️ Since we heard the news on Christmas Day, we have been tirelessly working to protect and care for the children, ensuring they are fed by the same loving staff and supported by appropriate counselors we’ve brought in. We have also been working hand in hand with governing authorities across Zambia to ensure the school is fully compliant and can continue serving the children without interruption. We have provided emergency funding and have enough to continue for several months, but they will need more support as we work toward a long-term funding solution with both government and NGO partners.
