About us

BenefitBump serves as a hub connecting employees to all benefit plans, leave (including state paid leave), programs, resources, and worksite supports as they grow their family. We guide growing families through their pregnancy, fertility, surrogacy, or adoption journeys when things go as planned and even when they don't. Our program is emotional health forward, where master's level emotional health professionals serve as the guide for participants. Our program is offered to employers of all sizes, delivering value to clients in many ways. We serve as a hub for all benefits and time off programs, connecting participants to the valuable programs offered by their employers. We take work off the plates of busy employees and Benefits/HR teams, and provide the support that enables work/life balance and higher retention and return-to-work rates. Participants benefit from the support they receive in benefit plan and leave program education and transactional support, connections we make to helpful resources, and through recurring check-in calls that help with project management and stress reduction . As BenefitBump reduces stress, health outcomes will improve. BenefitBump is designed for all families and all paths to parenthood. 💼 Postpartum depression (PPD) is a serious issue that affects many new mothers returning to the workforce, and it has significant implications for employee retention. Employers who fail to recognize and support mothers dealing with PPD risk losing valuable talent. Providing comprehensive support, such as flexible work arrangements, mental health support, and a culture that prioritizes well-being, can make a substantial difference. By addressing PPD head-on, companies not only show they care but also foster loyalty and long-term engagement among working mothers. For the full article: https://lnkd.in/gQphzGQs. As we observe National Breastfeeding Month this August, we encourage employers to recognize the importance of creating a supportive environment for breastfeeding employees. Employers play a vital role in this journey. By providing flexible break times, private and clean lactation spaces, and fostering a culture of understanding, we can help our employees balance their work and breastfeeding responsibilities. Supporting breastfeeding not only benefits the health and well-being of mothers and their babies but also leads to increased employee satisfaction, retention, and overall productivity. Let’s take this month as an opportunity to review our workplace policies and ensure we're offering the necessary support to our breastfeeding employees. #NationalBreastfeedingMonth #WorldBreastfeedingWeek #EmployeeWellbeing #SupportBreastfeedingMothers #WorkplaceCulture

One of the ways employers can support growing families is by providing manager training to ensure supportive and inclusive workplace environments. Training helps managers understand and accommodate the unique needs of employees during significant life changes, such as pregnancy, parental leave, and return-to-work. This can lead to improved employee retention, higher job satisfaction, and enhanced productivity. Additionally, trained managers can foster a culture of empathy and flexibility, reducing stress and promoting a healthy work-life balance for employees balancing work and family responsibilities. Premature births in the U.S. surged between 2014 and 2022, deviating from a previous downward trend, as indicated by recent data from the CDC. Experts attribute this increase to maternal health complications, stress, delay of care, and advanced maternal age. The rise in premature births, particularly among mothers aged 30 and above, marks a reversal from previous trends, raising concerns due to the heightened health risks premature babies face.
