Yesterday, along with New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), we broke ground and commenced work on an extensive rehabilitation at the West Brighton I and II residences on Staten Island’s North Shore. This marked NYCHA’s first PACT on Staten Island, and we are so happy to be a part of this, along with our partners CB-Emmanuel Realty, LLC, Catholic Homes New York, Pinnacle City Living.
The $332 million rehabilitation will provide comprehensive renovations for over 1,300 residents, as well a new senior center. We are deeply committed to improving the lives of Staten Islanders and with our strong ties to the North Shore community. It is wonderful to see how this incredible project can make a significant impact on individuals’ lives.
Thanks to Mayor Eric Adams, Deputy Mayor Maria Torres-Springer, New York State Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton, New York State Assemblyman Charles D. Fall, Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, New York City Councilmember Kamilla Hanks, Michael E. McMahon, Office of the Richmond County District Attorney, Wells Fargo, and countless other people that worked on this deal from the legal, planning, and design side of the project, but especially to the members of the West Brighton community.
