The first European Style Organic Infant Formula that meets FDA standards. Founded by moms in the U.S.

About us

Bobbie is the first and only mom-founded and women-led infant formula company in the U.S. Our European-style recipe meets all FDA requirements, is made with pasture-raised milk from Organic Valley farms, and is the only infant formula to receive both the Clean Label Project’s Purity Award and Pesticide Free Certification. Bobbie is working to shake the stigma and evolve the conversation around how you feed your baby to one of confidence, not comparison, from how we feed to what we feed. We lost sleep over this so you don't have to.

When your distribution partners are TRUE partners  🤝 Every month, tens of thousands of boxes of Bobbie are packed up and shipped to all 50 states. But this month, Saddle Creek Logistics Services did more than just ship the new and recurring orders for our Bobbie fam-- They became a true part of the fam by waiving all of their shipping fees for the Bobbie formula shipments sent to our LA Fire Relief Fund efforts. This includes shipments to subscribers who lost their homes, for every family we are sponsoring for the remainder of their feeding journey after being severely impacted by the fires, and for the extra boxes of donations we sent to various partners on the ground in LA. Thank you to the heart-first team at Saddle Creek, for reminding us that choosing value-aligned partners matters! 💚

Happy World Breast Pumping Day to all the pumping moms. As a team of majority parents here at Bobbie, we know firsthand the mental, physical, and emotional toll that feeding takes. And for all the moms balancing work-life with pump-life, in case no one has told you today, YOU ARE A BADASS. To celebrate, we're working with Sasha Israel and The Pump Project, her series of breathtaking portraits that document the strength, resilience, and love of mothers pumping at work. These photos don’t just capture moments, they tell powerful stories. Stories of mothers navigating busy days, juggling careers, and fiercely showing up for their babies from the quiet corners of the office pump room, to the commute home. These are the in between moments we don't always see on LinkedIn, but reveal the real heart of what working moms are actually balancing -- and spoiler alert, it's a lot. That's why, in honor of World Breast Pumping day, we’re giving away a special Feeding Photoshoot with Sasha to capture this special moment in time with your baby. To enter, make sure you're following us on IG and fill out the form:

It’s not just about providing product. It’s about checking in with our Bobbie fam as moms first to ask “what can we do to help?” Thank you Annabel Burba and Inc. Magazine for helping get the word out about the companies springing to action for parents and babies in LA.

I recently spoke with Laura Modi, the co-founder and CEO of baby formula brand Bobbie, who jumped into action last week to support fire victims in LA. She and her team spent hours personally calling every customer living in impacted areas. The stories they heard brought them to tears. Bobbie has since offered to cover the feeding journey of any parent severely impacted by the fires, donated supplies to boots-on-the-ground relief organizations, and created an option for anyone to donate formula through their website. "We just want people to know we're here," Modi told me. Bobbie also gave product to Los Angeles-based women’s supplement company Perelel, which is hand-delivering supplies to fire-impacted customers. Diaper brand Coterie and clothing brand BELLA+CANVAS pitched in too. How is your brand giving back?

There is a lot of social swirl right now about formula companies lobbying against Paid Leave (seemingly so that moms need more formula). But when we saw Bobbie getting lumped into this conversation, we had to pull out the iphone stand, ring light, and set the record straight. 🎤 Since day one we have been leading as a next generation formula company-- and that includes lobbying FOR Paid Family Leave here in DC, with multiple letters to Congress, with non-profits (Chamber of Mothers, Paid Leave for All and Moms First) on national news, print ads, and with our MotherBoard celebrities (shout out to Naomi Osaka, Tan France and Karlie Kloss). We've also deployed our own Paid Leave with 4 months paid, one year protected and an additional 16 weeks paid for NICU leave. We then open-sourced it for other companies to implement, reaching more than a million employees to date. (www.takeourleave.com) Our push for Paid Leave is also firmly rooted in our support for breastfeeding moms. If the CDC expects moms to exclusively breastfeed for 6 months, then moms need the dedicated time to do it. Full stop. So let us be super clear on where we stand here: We have and will continue to advocate for Paid Leave on behalf of our team, our community, and parents across America. 🇺🇸 #paidleave #familyleave #maternityleave #Infantfeeding #momfounded #policy #passpaidleave

"We found out our home was burned to the ground as we were getting discharged from the hospital after a c-section delivery of our first baby; we had our nursery ready to go, but now it's gone" - a new mom in Pasadena. This is just one of the many stories that have flooded our Bobbie applications for the LA Fire Relief Fund we started just five days ago as our team moved into rapid response mode to support not only Bobbie customers, but all new parents impacted by the LA fires. We are committed to sponsoring the rest of their formula feeding journey as one less thing for them to worry about as they rebuild their lives. This is what being an American made, mom-founded and led company means to us. Showing up for parents here when they need us most. We could not do this without the support of our community who has helped by gifting a can of Bobbie to a parent in need. If you would like to know you are helping a parent feed a baby during this time, you can click this link to gift a can to a parent in LA. Link is here 👉 https://lnkd.in/gUU85ppq And please read through, in their own words, what their reality is today below.

Yesterday we launched a campaign encouraging parents to ask for help. Today, the unbelievable damage from the fires in LA are a reminder that sometimes you shouldn't have to ask for help. It should just show up. For the past 24 hours our Co-Founders, our Bobbie for Change Lead, and our team have gone into rapid response mode for our customers, many who have lost their homes, and the for the entire community impacted in LA. 💚 Today we launched the Bobbie LA Fire Relief Fund which will support the remainder of formula feeding journeys for any parent who lost their homes in these fires-- Bobbie customer or not. If you know someone who needs it, the link to apply is here 👉 bit.ly/BobbieLArelief. And we're calling on the Bobbie Fam and our collective village who want to do something to tangibly help a parent and baby right now. You can gift a donated can on our Bobbie for Change site 👉 https://lnkd.in/gP_MYBv5

The three hardest words for a new mom to say: I need help. Even for Meghan Trainor. Yes, Grammy Award winner and mom of two, Meghan Trainor. Knowing when we’re overwhelmed, when to raise your hand, when to ask for the help you need in postpartum is hard. And today Meghan, a Bobbie mom, is very vulnerably sharing her own struggle with postpartum anxiety and panic attacks and what helped looked like for her. It meant staying on her antidepressants through pregnancy and postpartum, finding a therapist, asking her husband to help feed the baby, evolving her feeding journey beyond exclusive pumping, and asking her family to help with her toddler. Her hope is that by sharing this with the world, and with the Bobbie community of new parents, we can change the stigma around asking for help. So to all the moms here on LinkedIn who are returning to work or finding your new balance or feel like you are alone in struggling- know that we see you and we want to encourage you to use your voice, raise your hand, and ask for help when you need it. To learn more and apply for one of the Bobbie Care Packages we’re giving away in honor of Meghan bravely sharing all with us, go to hibobbie.com/ask-for-help #postpartum #paidleave #womensupportingwomen #postpartummentalhealth #mentalhealth #Infantfeeding #pumping #breastfeeding #formulafeeding

🎆 New Year, same mission: create world class products, advocate for parents here in the U.S and of course- support all feeding journeys. Our fearless CEO and mom of four, Laura Modi, sat down with Natasha Pearlman at Glamour to talk about facing rejection from early investors, building a mission driven company, and doing it all on top of a best in class formulas with quality and safety at the forefront. 2025 Let's Go!! ___________ "This all led to Modi not just wanting to create the best formula for new babies on the market but also a mission-based company supporting new parents. In the six years’ since Bobbie’s launch the company has advocated for paid family and medical leave and the Black maternal mortality crisis and has launched charitable partnerships with organizations like The Breasties (where Bobbie donates a years’ worth of formula to hundreds of parents every year who have been impacted by breast or gynecological cancer). This year they even lowered their prices in order to expand affordable access to their milk." #femalefounded #Infantformula #Infantfeeding #momfoundedandled #entrepreneurship #press #founderled

Inflation rose again last month and today we took our prices down. Yes, DOWN. We’re excited to lower our prices for our Organic Original formula for every single existing subscriber on the product, for new customers coming in, and for our retail customers at Target and Whole Foods Market. Why? Because we (finally) can. Because we bought our own American manufacturing facility more than a year ago and we are finally seeing the cost savings of owning end to end production for one of our products. Because we promised we would. As a mom-led company, the first order of business in finding savings is passing it along to our customers without ever compromising on our quality and standards. We’re also announcing inflation-proof pricing, which means that once you subscribe to Bobbie we promise not to increase your prices during the full year of your feeding journey, even if our supply costs go up. We know that parents budget carefully for formula and don’t need any surprises. So while we promise not to raise your price— we might just lower them as we are doing today. 💚 Here’s a message from our co-founder and CEO Laura Modi our community of parents-- new and old.
