Tim Peer, P.E. hands-on experience in operations, strategy, and construction gives him a unique perspective that benefits the industry and the communities these systems serve. I'm excited to see how his leadership at BOND Building continues to drive innovation in energy infrastructure!
IDEA Board member, Tim Peer, P.E., took what he calls “the road less traveled” into #DistrictEnergy, but his impact on the industry has been significant. Cornell University’s #Innovative Deep Lake Water Cooling (DLWC) project was one of Tim’s first projects and that was just the start. He has come full circle in our field. In our latest blog, we dive into Tim’s journey, from the Marine Corps to union plant operator, leading to a 22 year-long career at Cornell, followed by consulting at CHA and now leading the district energy team at BOND Building Construction in strategy, planning and constructing world-class energy systems. Tim has seen district energy from all sides. District energy has been a place where Tim formed lifelong friendships and learned that every project counts toward making an impact. #Sustainability #Decarbonization #EnergyResilency
