What if you had the chance to do something truly transformative in 2024? What if you could do something today that would make this year historic? In 2024, we have made significant progress from expanding opportunities for our neighbors to changing the landscape of the neighborhood due to more needed resources being erected. Your support has changed lives and built a stronger, more resilient community. But this is our chance to do something even bigger—to make 2024 a banner year for Bonton Farms and the city. We’re just hours away from closing the books this year, and we need your help to finish strong. When you give today, you’re not just making a gift—you’re making impact. Together, we can take this mission to new heights and create lasting change. Make 2024 count. Can we count on your gift today? https://lnkd.in/gBZcF-UR

We're disrupting systems of inequity, laying a foundation where health, wholeness and opportunity are the norm.
About us
We believe that humans, like plants, need the right conditions to flourish, which is why we're driven by these seven human essentials: health & wellness; economic stability; safe & affordable housing; transportation; community; education, and access to fair credit. Like any ecosystem, if these conditions become unbalanced, the entire system begins to fall apart. Bonton Farms exists within a South Dallas neighborhood called Bonton. Our community is filled with beautiful, courageous people who have fought to remain spirited in the face of a hundred years of systemic inequities working against them. Existing within Dallas county, approximately 40% of our neighbors live below the poverty line. Bonton Farms was created to dismantle these systems of inequity and replace them with the tools all humans need to thrive. Powered by the community, we are reimagining a world where essential life tools are no longer a rare commodity–and thriving is considered the norm.

This Christmas, as we gather with loved ones, sharing meals and counting our blessings, we’re reminded of the warmth of community and the joy of giving back. Because of your generosity, families in Bonton are finding access to fresh, healthy food to prepare their holiday meals, creating homes where memories are made, and building a safe, thriving community where neighbors come together. We see God’s goodness in action every day here in Bonton, and your support makes it possible to continue growing His kingdom—one family, one table, one meal at a time. As you finish your holiday preparations, we invite you to mark this season with a gift that empowers a brighter future for the families of Bonton. Together, we can transform lives and strengthen our community. Visit the link in bio to give today. Thank you for being part of this mission. #BontonFarms #ChristmasGiving #GrowHope

You heard it right! You’ve seen the news! We are growing again! Yesterday, we were joined by community members, partners, donors, staff, and supporters to celebrate the ribbon cutting of our Bonton Wellness Center and the groundbreaking of Bonton Gardens and the Bexar Resource Center. We called the event Trifecta! - Bonton Gardens: A 36-unit apartment complex to create safe, affordable housing. We are starting construction on the first of two buildings. - Bonton Wellness Center: A 11,000 square-foot facility that will provide primary care needs, host educational sessions, provide dental care, host nutrition, fitness and financial health classses. - Bexar Resource Center: A collocation space for mental health services and social service providers; a meeting space for our apprentices and retail space for our “Bontonpreneurs” The buildings are just the beginning; the programs, the people, and the partners filling the space is where we believe true transformation happens. We invite you to continue to be part of the journey as we develop and grow the resources and programming that will support the heart of Bonton Farms, our community neighbors and residents. Giving Tuesday is here! To help you to understand that we are more than a farm, meet our friend and community member, Lynn: Originally from California, Lynn found a fresh start for herself and her son as an apprentice at Bonton Farms. Struggling with limited job opportunities and personal challenges, she was ready for a change—she's since learned farm operations, trained as a barista in our Coffee shop, and is preparing for bigger career goals. Lynn has also earned her driver’s license, found a home through Bonton Farms, and is now completing the Financial Wellness Program. The impact of Bonton Farms' comprehensive programs has been transformative: “I could not have figured this all out by myself, but being able to get it through one organization has been life-changing,” she says. Today, you have the power to forever change the lives of people like Lynn, create lasting impact, and transform our city. Every gift—big or small—helps build these programs and create a ripple effect of hope and opportunity. We're so much more than a farm--join us in our mission to redefine how we think of community and make a gift today. Donate by clicking the link below: https://bit.ly/3ZzWcdX
