Established in 2005, Bright Path Center is a 501c3 nonprofit organization steadfast in its commitment to lighting the way for at-risk and homeless individuals. Our core purpose is not just to provide assistance, but to empower and inspire these individuals, guiding them towards leaving a positive imprint on the world. Originally emerging as a beacon of hope in Riverside, CA, for children in socio-economically challenged neighborhoods, our emphasis was on early learning and youth development initiatives. Recognizing the growing needs of our community, we soon expanded our horizon, branching out to Los Angeles. Today, we not only focus on education but also on providing outreach, facilitating numerous educational opportunities, and ensuring that individuals and families are steered towards transitional or permanent housing.     We're looking for a Grant Writing Volunteer who's enthusiastic, passionate, and self-motivated about seeking funds for charity. Bright Path, a nonprofit organization is looking for a Grant Writer Volunteer who is enthusiastic, passionate, and self-motivated about seeking funds for charity. Responsibilities *Assisting our Grant Writing Team managing all aspects of the grant preparation and submission process. * Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal. * Attend grant meetings weekly via zoom to discuss updates , issues and recommendations. * Write , revise, and edit Grant applications. Requirements: *High School diploma is required. *Excellent writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy. *Strong verbal communication skills *Ability to multitask effectively while performing job duties, including the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines *Ability to effectively describe complex, technical solution details to lay audiences *Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills *Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Internet, and Technical Research. Experience: *Minimum 1 year professional-level grant writing experience. (Preferred) Schedule: *Monday to Friday- 10 to 15 hours per week. *Remote
