    Account Executive at Buffalo Bisons

Want to start by saying thank you to everyone at the Bisons for an unbelievable 2024 season, but especially Geoff Lundquist, Anthony Sprague, and everyone in the sales department. I learned so many things I will carry with me throughout the rest of my career and life. I would also like to say I am proud to announce I am sticking around, and have accepted a full time position as an Account Executive with the Buffalo Bisons! Looking forward to a great 2025 season and beyond.

Student at Niagara University | Major: Communications and Media Studies | Minor: Social Media and Digital Marketing

With the 2024 baseball season coming to an end, I thought it would be the perfect time to reflect on my summer with the Buffalo Bisons as a Social Media Intern! From creating engaging content for the fans to staying on top of the current social trends, there was never a time when I was not enjoying every second. Over the summer, we were able to grow our social platforms and even reach #1 in all platform impressions in the month of July! Not only did I get the opportunity to work with the amazing Buffalo Bisons, but I also had the pleasure of working the Micah Hyde Charity Softball Game and other youth camps that allowed me to see the incredible community involvement that Buffalo is so famous for. I will be forever grateful for the people I met and the friendships I made, but the one to thank for it all is Marissa Packard. Marissa allowed my fellow interns and me to always feel like we were heard and our ideas were appreciated, enabling us to grow and learn so much. Her dedication to this team and desire to always take things to the next level are qualities that I will only hope to achieve someday in my professional life. Every single person that I met through this organization taught me something new, and I am so grateful to walk away from this internship with so much knowledge and support! Again, I'd like to thank the Buffalo Bisons, Marissa Packard, Angelo Aiello, Olyvia Zurowski, and Tyler Colbey, for none of this would have been possible without you!

    Student at Canisius University

This summer I had the opportunity of interning with the Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A Affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. With the greatest appreciation to Geoff Lundquist, Arianna Musialowski and the entire Buffalo Bisons organization, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible opportunity you provided me this summer. My internship with the Bisons was truly unmatched, and I learned so much from working with such an amazing team. As an intern with the sales department, I gained invaluable experience in various aspects of the sports world, from providing ticket services to fans in person, managing suite menu orders, assisting in the press box, and even taking on the role of suiting up as carrot, and chicken wing in the wing race. Being part of major events like the Micah Hyde Charity Softball Game, Taste of Country, the Famous Savannah Bananas game, and assisting in Striking out Cancer on August 11th was both exciting and rewarding. I’m especially proud to have contributed to breaking the record for Buster’s Kids Club sales, alongside my fellow interns Alex Reimer, and Joe Gurowicz. Serving as a face of the Bisons throughout the season gave me a sense of accomplishment and pride in my work. This experience has shaped my professional growth in ways I will always carry with me. I would also like to extend a special thank you to Jim Harrington, Shaun O'Lay, Sara Acker, Jarrett Gilson and Mark Gordon for offering invaluable advice and believing in me every step of the way. Your guidance has meant the world to me. I am forever grateful for this opportunity and for the lasting connections I’ve made. God bless the Buffalo Bisons, and of course, Let’s Go Buffalo! Thank you, Rory Bialy Undergraduate Student, Canisius University ‘27

Studying Sports Management at Niagara University

Another year in the books with the Buffalo Bisons. It was a remarkable season with so much knowledge gained. I would like to say a special thank you to Geoff Lundquist and everyone in the organization. During my Sales Internship with the Bisons, we were assigned many tasks. One of our main focuses was Busters Kids Club, where this year I was a part of the team that broke the Buffalo Bisons Record for most Kids Club sold in one season. Many other projects we worked on would be helping sales representatives with their suites, focusing on wrap-up books for our sponsors, helping in the ticket office and so much more. Along with everything, I got so many opportunities to help out in other areas and grow my skills. Whether it was helping out with the grounds crew, being the in-stadium host for games, being Buster, helping out in the press box, or doing sound. Along with that, it was another year of having the opportunity to execute one of our biggest sponsorship promotions “Faster than Lighting.” (Ford). We had some big events this year at the ballpark that I had the opportunity to be a part of like Taste of Country and three Savannah Bananas games. Overall, I wouldn't have wanted to spend my summer in any other way than learning and growing myself with the Bisons Staff and at the ballpark. Roll Hurd!🦬

With that, the 2024 Bisons Baseball season comes to an end. From March 29th to September 22nd, Sahlen field has truly become a second home for me. I am incredibly grateful for all that has happened this season. From executing pregame promotions such as anthems and dream teams, to running around to execute in game promotions, to being a mascot handler for the one and only Buster T. Bison, watching my idea come to life for an opening video and falling in love with editing again, and so much more, I would not change my time at the Buffalo Bisons for anything. This experience has taught me so much about working in sports, and fueled my already-growing passion for creating lasting memories for fans. I am going to greatly miss coming to the stadium to work, but I cannot wait to see where I go from here. Thank you to Amanda Ballestero, Anthony Sprague, Marissa Packard, Arianna Musialowski, Isaac Johnson, CJ Gates, and my fellow interns for everything this season. Thank you, Buffalo Bisons.
