Our Public Affairs team participated in an inspiring Policy Roundtable on Due Diligence in Brussels this week. Co-hosted by Policy Hub, Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP), Fair Wear Foundation, and amfori - Trade with Purpose, it was very well attended by policymakers from the European Parliament, representatives of different Directorates at the European Commission, as well as key brands, manufacturers, and stakeholders. The roundtable hosts launched the Handbook for Due Diligence Implementation in the Textile Sector, a ground-breaking resource that highlights existing tools, identifies gaps, and emphasizes the need for a collaborative and holistic approach to tackle the complexities of global value chains. Gabriele Ballero Muñoz, our Public Affairs Manager amplified member and especially manufacturer voices and ensured their perspectives and challenges are heard and understood.
