The GFA Monitor 2024 Update builds on the Fashion CEO Agenda’s framework, gauging industry progress across five core priorities. The first priority in focus, Respectful & Secure Work Environments, is essential to upholding universal human rights across the fashion value chain. Safe conditions, fair wages, and worker well-being not only support communities but also strengthen industry resilience and productivity. While more brands and manufacturers are setting targets, stronger implementation and broader supplier engagement are needed to drive lasting change. By embracing creativity, critical thinking, and alternative frameworks, fashion can move beyond excessive consumption practices towards economies rooted in care, regeneration, and inclusivity.
