Each month, the Holy Father entrusts us with a specific prayer intention. For October 2024, Pope Francis invites us to pray for a shared mission. 👉 We pray that the Church continues to sustain in all ways a Synodal lifestyle, as a sign of co-responsibility, promoting the participation, the communion, and the mission shared among priests, religious, and lay people. Will you answer the Holy Father's request and join countless others around the world in praying for this intention?

The Synod Hall was full of joy during the retreat. I had a huge smile while hugging patriarchs, cardinals, bishops, sisters, and brothers from all over the world. It felt as if I was back on the first day of classes after a loooong vacation without seeing my close friends (FYI: I call friends also some with whom I disagree, I´m Catholic. I believe God calling us to be ONE is a real thing I personally need to actively work on...) These last days were full of God. Praying together, reflecting on the meditations, talking, and listening to each other and the Holy Spirit. It was a great way to dive into the last month-long session of the Synod. Today the Synod starts. There is expectation now. Many people are hopeful, others are uncertain of this whole journey, others are fearful… I have a concrete request: Please pray for us here at the Synod. We launched a campaign in which you can "adopt" or sponsor a Synodal Delegate for the whole sessions of the Synod. This is a very tangible way you can be involved this month 👉 https://lnkd.in/gs5S7Jji Also: Please pray for the whole Church. So we can be hopeful. So we can trust Christ and His promise. So we can have faith that the Holy Spirit hasn´t left His Church. So the despair and angst are cast out of our hearts and minds; so we can welcome Him in the deepness of our self. He who is Love. He who is The Truth. He who is the source of Joy. He who gives us Peace… PS. I try not to take so many pictures with people over here, I try to be present and soak every moment. That´s why I don´t have many pictures, so I decided to upload the one I took of the St. Juan Diego the Podcaster tennis shoes with The BeatiDudes´ Catholic Concepts´ socks on the retreat.
