Today, the Chicago Blackhawks honored and celebrated Chris Chelios, one of the most decorated defensemen in team and league history. Chris is one of the greatest American-born players who’s truly “Chicago’s Own” as he grew up in the Chicagoland area. Chris’ #7 jersey was officially retired and will forever hang in the United Center rafters. Congrats, Chris, your hometown is proud of you.
