This award is given to someone who has dedicated 15 or more years to the City of Milwaukee. 🔹Sheronda Grant, MPD Inspector, received the Innovator of the Year award. This award is presented to an individual who has introduced an innovative idea or system that enhances access to housing, jobs, transportation, improves public safety, and/or helps address the impact of climate change. This award goes to the person or a group of employees who exemplify ‘what makes their department function' and demonstrate leadership, courage, and/or humanity beyond what is typically expected. And that's a wrap! 🛳️ PONANT vessel Le Bellot made the final cruise ship call for the 2024 cruise season on Sunday. Port officials estimated over 12,000 global passengers would visit Milwaukee this season. Final numbers will be released soon. Port Milwaukee is thankful for everyone involved in ensuring the season was a success, and we look forward to kicking off our 2025 #cruiseseason in the spring!
