  • Clean Harbors has made a commitment to support #MilSpouse professionals by joining the Military Spouse Employment Partnership -- MSEP. We’re proud to stand alongside the United States Department of Defense and an incredible network of new and enduring partners at MSEP ENGAGE 2025. Our Leader of Early Talent & Military Programs, Lou Candiello, along with Human Resources Generalist (and military spouse) Catherine Gallagher, attended the signing event earlier today just outside Washington, D.C. to commit to supporting and empowering military spouses throughout the company. #MSEP2025

  • Each December, Clean Harbors partners with Wreaths Across America to lay wreaths on hundreds of thousands of veterans’ graves. This year driver Robert Roy, himself a U.S. Army veteran, once again took part in the caravan to Arlington National Cemetery by driving the company’s specially designed camo-colored tribute truck. A team of Clean Harbors employees and family members took part in the wreath laying, joining the many others from across the country as part of Wreaths Across America day.

  • Great turnout for the Braintree Festival of Trees event this weekend. We especially loved the row of seagulls under the Clean Harbors tree on the main stage! We were proud to sponsor this fun four-day event, which will help improve the lives of many families in and around Braintree, Mass. This annual fundraiser features dozens of holiday trees decorated and donated by local businesses that are raffled off to lucky winners.

  • Thanks for affording our own Jay Cudmore the opportunity to represent Clean Harbors on your PFAS panel. He discussed our PFAS Total Solution – which covers everything from sampling to remediation to transportation and disposal. He also highlighted some new rigorous emissions testing we recently completed at our Utah facility in conjunction with the EPA and DoD to prove that we can destroy PFAS with a 99.9999% efficiency through incineration. The opportunity for us to offer customers and government entities assured destruction of PFAS compounds in all forms through our incineration network will only grow with our state-of-the-art incinerator coming online shortly in Kimball, Nebraska. There’s a lot of excitement, opportunity and momentum in the emerging PFAS market that we’re excited to lead with our Total Solution.

When Hurricane Helene hit the southeastern region of the United States, it was yet another in a string of heavy storms causing widespread damage this hurricane season. But the Charleston, South Carolina HEPACO branch, joined by their new teammates from Clean Harbors, responded quickly and compassionately to help many of the millions left without power. Working proactively with Dominion Energy and other providers before the storm even hit, crews used their vast network and industry-leading skills to prepare for and respond to more than 400 incidents across the region, prioritizing safety while maximizing efficiency.
