Congratulations to Anne-Marie Gagnon, Director of ESG at BCI, on her appointment to the Climate Action 100+ Steering Committee. For over a decade, Anne-Marie has been instrumental to our stewardship efforts and her experience in global climate engagement will make her an asset in this new role. Climate Action 100+ is one of the largest investor-led engagement initiatives on climate change, uniting over 600 investors across 33 markets to urge the world’s largest GHG emitters to take action. BCI has actively contributed to CA100+ since it was formed in 2017, leading and supporting engagement with a dozen companies in North America and Asia. We released a new story alongside the launch of the Net Zero Company Benchmark assessment results last week. Whilst this is an important annual moment for the initiative, there's also been a wave of new signatories that we wish to highlight. Climate Action 100+ has taken on 90 new joiners since June 2023, with a regional breakdown as follows: Africa - 2, Asia - 10, Australasia - 12, Europe - 52, North America - 10, and South America - 4.
