Im better because I have met them! @Bella as a site coordinator for Communities In Schools National Office in Tulsa reminds me of the power of daily efforts into building strong relationships with school staff, kids and parents. Kaitlin Garrett always making me rethink my own ways of doing, challenging my preset settings, and allowing me to grow and see more of the work Growing Together, Inc. does in the Kendall Whittier neighborhood. Communities In Schools of Central Texas is in the House—literally! From the floor of the Texas House of Representatives chamber, Rep. It is an honor to be recognized by the chair of the public education committee with colleagues from 27 statewide affiliates and CIS students from Uvalde. We’re thrilled to share that CIS of Ohio was featured on 10TV WBNS, 10 Investigates, to discuss the challenges of chronic absenteeism in Franklin County. CIS CEO, Adero Robinson, and Site Coordinator's, Shelley Ennis (Darby Woods), and Kim Robinson (Prairie Lincoln Elementary) were interviewed and did a fantastic job sharing valuable insights and perspectives on this important issue.
