Happy #WorldMentalHealthDay! 🌍💚 Today, we're raising awareness and sharing support by offering resource hubs at all our locations. Each hub is stocked with snacks and vital information about our walk-in intakes, drop-in case management, and more! Thanks to everyone who stopped by to refuel and to learn more about our critical services across CRC. 🧃 It was the perfect occasion to take a break, connect with coworkers, and find out how we can support our clients along their mental health journey.

Meetings are always better when you can take them outdoors. ☀️ Shoutout to our 27J school-based services team who walks together every week to recenter and connect during their team meetings. Daily movement is vital in maintaining a positive well-being and we love seeing our staff stay on top of their physical and mental health at work. What are some ways you support your mental health? 🫵

Meet our AWARE Center member, Eric! 👋 Eric began his journey at Community Reach Center when his roommate encouraged him to speak with a professional about his mental health. When asked what advice he would give his younger self, he shared, “Take it seriously when you notice the early signs of mental health struggles.” He now attends AWARE Center regularly to see his friends and enjoys the weekly group activities. His favorite activities are creative writing, spirituality, music, and doing crossword puzzles. 🎵 In the words of Eric, “I recommend this place to anyone.” We’re so happy to see you enjoying AWARE and thriving. 💙

#NationalLOVEPeopleDay is about showing unconditional love to everyone around you in small ways. 🩷 Some of our favorite ways to show unconditional love to others include intentional listening, being kind, and providing acts of service to those we care about. In honor of today, our Ask a Reacher host, Juan, asks staff how they plan to show unconditional love today. Check it out! 🫶

This year’s #CBHCConference has come to an end. We are sad to see it go, but excited to apply all the amazing strategies and practices we learned. Some highlights from this year’s conference are: 1️⃣ Interactive, relationship-based DEI approaches 2️⃣ Facilitating EMDR through Minecraft 3️⃣ The potential use of AI in a clinical setting 4️⃣ What it means to be human in the age of AI

Today we had the honor of celebrating the retirement of Community Reach Center’s very own "Bobbsey Twins", Erene and Arlene! 🎉 These two are leaving CRC after an impressive 42+ years and 32+ years of service! From day one, Erene and Arlene clicked and have formed an incredible bond as coworkers, birthday buddies, and an unbreakable friendship. 👭 A heartfelt thank you goes out to the dynamic duo for pouring their hearts into our mission. CRC just wouldn't be the same without you both. We will miss you! 💙

🎉 Congratulations to our very own staff member and Mental Health First Aid USA instructor, Kristina Sand, for being named the Mental Health First Aid Colorado Coordinator of the Year! 🏆 Kristina’s innovative approach to teaching mental health education, collaborative spirit, and initiatives have set a high standard for excellence in the field. This recognition reflects the profound impact she has made on the community and the individuals she has supported along the way. 💙 It is an honor to celebrate her achievements in improving mental health care in Colorado. Congrats Kristina! 🥳
