Our latest Department of Cyberspace Studies -- (AFIT/EXC) 💡 Faculty and Staff Spotlight 💡 is on Jordan B. Jordan is a Credence instructor for the United States Air Force Joint Intermediate Cyberspace Operations course (Cyberspace 200 -- https://lnkd.in/ga3BAc9F) and Joint Advanced Cyberspace Operations course (Cyberspace 300 -- https://lnkd.in/dS5DQmyp) at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology. We asked Jordan a few questions to help you get better acquainted. 🏙️ What is your hometown? I grew up in West Chester, Ohio, a suburb just north of Cincinnati. I have lived in Ohio my entire life, outside of my active-duty time in the US Army. ⏲️ How long have you been part of the Department of Cyberspace Studies? I have been a part of the Department of Cyberspace Studies -- (AFIT/EXC) for 3 years next month. It is one of the most fantastic jobs I have had. It's exciting, fast-paced, and constantly evolving. 🎓 What is your favorite part of being at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology? Being a Cyberspace 200/300 instructor has been one of the most fun jobs ever. The engagement with the students is outstanding, and the materials we cover continue evolving as cyberspace evolves. It presents daily challenges, but it has helped me grow as an instructor and educator in cyberspace. The curriculum here has changed since my arrival at the Department of Cyberspace Studies -- (AFIT/EXC), but with the iterations and improvements we answer the call on what Air Force Officers, NCOs, and civilians need to be aware of for success. 🏫 What is your favorite AFIT/EXC lesson to instruct? It changes from class to class, but I have enjoyed the offensive cyberspace operations (OCO) and risk mitigation strategies from the most recent Cyberspace 300. The discussion was incredible, and it brought insight into what the students are dealing with daily and the challenges they are working to solve daily within their professions. It brought a newfound appreciation for our excellent students and the opportunity to share our experiences to help each other as we face many similar issues. 🪙 What is something interesting about you? I consider myself an amateur treasure hunter. I enjoy collecting coins, watches, and antiques. The thrill of the hunt, the history attached to the items, and the education I have received from this hobby continue to inspire me to keep hunting. #airforce #cyberspace #education

Credence is excited to announce our award under the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) JETS 2.0 IDIQ contract for the sustainment and development of the FedMall and modernization of STORES applications—the first task order awarded under the vehicle. These two programs, which impact everyone in the Department of Defense, further Credence’s 7 years of support of DLA’s Digital Business Transformation (D-BX) journey. This contract marks the largest modernization of the STORES application since their inception and will provide DLA with essential agile development, DevSecOps, ServiceNow integration, and business process reengineering capabilities.
