Last month, ITV & Campaign Against Living Miserably took over Westfields Shepherds Bush - the biggest shopping mall in Europe - and installed 6,926 balloons in honor of every single young British life lost to suicide over the last decade. It is with a heavy heart that we pay tribute to the life and legacy of Jürgen Knauss - a prominent DDB figure whose passion and humanity helped to shape the network and greater German advertising. Known by his nickname "Yussof," Jürgen is widely regarded as the creator of the global McDonald's slogan “I'm Lovin' It,” and thus played a decisive role in shaping the global perception of the iconic brand which remains to this day. Beyond his professional achievements, Jürgen was a multi-talented individual whose character made him an impactful mentor, a universal inspirer, and a faithful friend. His captivating presentations left audiences spellbound with his humor and insights. He excelled as a competitive golfer and world-class skier, and found joy in celebrating art, design, and life. Our thoughts and condolences are with his wife, Claudia, and the Knauss family during this difficult time.
