Deacon Seattle's high school interns, Gahl and Lyle, recently built their own 4’x4’x1’ planter boxes from scratch, following written instructions and sourcing materials from Home Depot. Guided by Steven Pearce, Safety Manager, at the safety warehouse, they learned essential skills like tool handling and problem-solving, including handling wood splitting and using wood glue. Their completed planter boxes will be donated to a Seattle Public Schools gardening club, giving back to the community. #Deacon #TeamWork #Internships
